Another short assignment: Embassy of Mexico called me again this year to be the “official” photographer at their annual reception. On September 16, 2010, Mexico commemorated the bicentennial of its Independence movement. The event was held at the Intercontinental Hotel (Bucharest), 21st floor. There was a lot of traditional food, mexican spices, tequila, corona beer, margaritas and a lot of ambassadors eating, drinking and having a good time. Well, it wasn’t that much fun for me, but hey, I was there just to do my job. However, I really enjoyed when a few mariachis with large sombreros stepped in and did their job! Everybody gathered to watch them play their guitars, trumpets and violins.
